EXCELLENT Based on 9 reviews Indiana J2025-07-01Verified Smiles, Stories, and Tribes – Thank You VISIT HADZA !!! VISIT HADZA gave me a truly authentic and respectful introduction to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes in Tanzania. Everything was well organized, with guides who are passionate and deeply connected to the local communities.Hunting with the Hadzabe and learning from the Datoga was not just fascinating, but also humbling. This wasn’t just tourism — it was a meaningful cultural exchange.Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine and responsible travel experience. Thank you VISIT HADZA for this once-in-a-lifetime journey! 🌍🙏 Mariana S2025-06-27Verified Safari in Tanzania We visited Tanzania in July 2024. Our guide was Yusuph and he took us on a Safari to Ngorongoro Crater and to Tarangire Park. He was amazing, very kind, he knew the place very well and gave us a lot of useful information about the area! Would highly recommend him! J S2025-06-15Verified Journey of a lifetime The initial request that started as an inquiry to visit the Hadzabe tribe developed into a full-fledged and customized 11-day safari tour, including most of the gems of the tanzanian North: Tarangire, lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and two full days in Serengeti. The main focus was cultural, though, experiencing the life of indigenous people, Maasai, Datoga, Iraq tribes and my personal highlight - 3 days with Hadzabe who taught me how to make arrows, shoot with a bow, make fire and took me with them on a hunt in the bush.I can't thank enough our guides, Yusuph (Datooga) and Willie (Hadzabe), for ensuring a seamless experience of the cultural habits of each tribe. Without their guidance, it wouldn't have been possible. These are the guys you want in charge if something has to be done properly. Our land cruiser broke down in Ngorongoro highlands. To find a mechanic team within minutes and then navigate Serengeti in the dark without maps and GPS precisely to the destination was truly impressive.Last but not least, if you want a standardized tour, book one of the big operators. But if you want a deep dive into the culture of indigenous people and fulfill your dreams, Visit Hadza is by far your best shot !Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience ! nawwar f2025-06-04Verified Highly recommended for anyone seeking a meaningful, immersive experience in Arusha, Tanzania. We did a right thing for choosing Visit Hadza and Yusuf as our guide in Arusha, Tanzania. First of all, of course the rate given is affordable. Secondly, the way he crafted the itinerary to accommodate our needs. We first just planned to visit Dotonga Tribe and Hadzabe Tribe in Lake Eyasi. Our budget is minimal, so he plan camping for accommodation and RV4 for our ride instead of Land-cruiser to suit our budget. We prep our own food as we opt for halal food. Thirdly, he is one of the tribe. So he knows lots about the tribes. He also enjoy sharing stories and knowledges with us. We glad we are friends now. Hahaha! After second day, then we chose to extend our trip to Ngorogoro Crater. Yusof the guide has sharp eyes too. We really enjoy the days in Arusha. Thank you Yusuf for making our visit worth it. Now we understand the quote more, “come as strangers and leave as families”. Clare R2025-06-04Verified Go with the best ! I’ve now done two trips with Yusuph and Visit Hadza and have had an absolutely fantastic experience each time. First thing to say is that Yusuph and his team are lovely people and you’re going to have a lot of fun and a great adventure if you travel with them . Yusuph is great with understanding what sort of experience you are looking for and continually checks in to see that all is going well. My special interest is photography and he was great at facilitating shots in villages, understanding and accommodating the need to be in the right situation when the light is best and also very helpful with carrying my gear and assisting with lighting and making sure I could always keep my batteries charged etc. He was very communicative and professional before the trips and it was entirely safe sending funds to him before the trip started. We had well planned trips but stayed flexible and changed the itinerary on the ground as circumstances dictated for example attending a tribal wedding. He is from Datoga tribe himself and will take you to villages he knows well . He also knows many of the Hadza tribe and speaks some of their language. He is also an experienced Safari guide though I didn’t go on Safari with him this time. I enjoyed my solo trip with him so much last year that I arranged to return for a longer trip this year. What makes him stand out fro the other operators is that he is local , raised in the area and knows it really well. He is taking you to his people and his home area where you’re welcomed as friends and he explains so much about the culture from first hand experience . Couldn’t recommend Visit Hadza any more highly. Be clear about what sort of experience you’re looking for and your budget and he’s the right man to deliver the trip of a lifetime. Angiejaz2025-05-31Verified Experience of a lifetime Travelling with Yusuf was an incredible experience. We had a 2-week trip with him, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Yusuf is highly professional and knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humour. He was very focused on making sure we were happy and comfortable and was very flexible. It was one of my best trips ever! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organised, and enjoyable adventure—especially travellers interested in culture and going off-the-beaten-track .Would definitely travel with him again! Otto B2025-05-27Verified Very highly recommended Very memorable trip with Yusuph from Visithadze. Yusuph, himself of Datoga origin, made meeting Hadzabe and Datoga people like meeting friends. Supakarn J2025-05-26Verified Eventful experience What a journey of a lifetime. I have never had a thrilling and eventful experience like this before. Thanks to Yusuf and his excellent character, this is the best tour company to guide you to visit Hadzabe and Datoka tribe. Always love his casual and easy-going vibe. Ieltxu Lauzirika2025-05-26Verified Amazing experience Amazing visit that will let you know one of the most ancient tribes in Africa who still live like we did in the palaeolithic age. Yusuph is a great guy and his knowledge about the tribes is huge since he comes from a Datoga family himself. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in culture and traditions of the country and human heritage.
